Barbara Bellman
Barbara Bellman is an entrepreneur, businesswoman, author, lecturer, consultant and marketing coach, with a focus on developing integrated communication strategies for social marketing, technology, beauty, health and medical industries. With more than 30 years in strategic marketing, her skills in brand management have helped clients be more competitive in their respective categories.
A frequent lecturer and keynote speaker on the national landscape, industry expert and contributor to major national magazines, she is the author of two leading reference books on gender-specific marketing: Reaching Women: The Way to Go in Marketing Health Services (Health Administration Press 1987) and Hitting the Right Nerve, (iUniverse 2002). She is also one of several contributors to Health Leaders Media publication, Case Studies in Niche Marketing: Real-World Ways to Reach Key Customer Groups.
Bellman’s latest release, Flirting After Fifty: Lessons For Grown-up Women on How to Find Love Again (iUniverse 2008) has taken many of the insights about marketing to show women how they can re-think what they do to maximize their potential for finding romance in later life.
Ms. Bellman holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Arizona State University with an emphasis in Marketing and Advertising. She has owned and operated three successful advertising agencies, each with a focus on the health and medical markets: Los Angeles-based York/Alpern-Doyle Dane Bernbach and Alpern, Langer and Strong; Scottsdale-based Alpern-Lehman and is the founder of a unique workshop consultancy: 3-Legged Stool – a strategic thinking company which helps companies discover – or rediscover – those brand qualities that differentiate them from competitors.
She lives in Washington DC with her husband, Seth Koch, VMD. She has two grown sons, two wonderful daughters-in-law and five beautiful granddaughters.

Susan Goldstein
Susan Goldstein, a Los Angeles lawyer and co-author of The Smart Divorce, is a native of New York City, a graduate of the University of Connecticut and the University of Toledo College of Law. She has practiced family law since 1982. She has served as a judge pro tem in family law court in Los Angeles County and a court-appointed mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Court. She is amicably divorced from her husband.
